Besides bragging on our boy -- I'm also going to share simple and budget friendly ideas for making use of what you have around to pull off a special celebration for your special grad.
Greet your guests with food that your grad loves!
Our Daniel l-o-ve's walking tacos!
A touch of Texas was added to the decor to let him know that even though he's an Iowa Hawkeye we are Texas Size PROUD!!! The metal letters are wired on baling wire and can be used in his room after the party. Extra supplies close at hand make it easy for friends to pitch in and refill...
Metal buckets take the fuss out of the food table -- keep it simple and fun!
I have no idea how the UNO cards made it to the food table, but I guess that's a PARTY for ya!
Pops of gold and back come through simple touches.
Daniel's senior year was full of challenges so little quotes captured his achievement...
Old doors were put to work as table tops...
The garage clutter was blocked by a wall of hay -- a man has duct tape and a cowgirl has baling wire.
Guests were encouraged to "Pick a Pic" to take with them
Alright -- a cowgirl has baling wire and chicken wire...
Hanging pallets displayed photos and sentiments...
Simple tablecloths made for a festive backdrop.
Blocks make for a fun and usable guest book.
Guests had such a good time trying to choose a pic!
And of course -- there were more pics to be taken!!
This is one special teacher who helped this guy graduate with honors!!
And I of course kept it together and didn't smother him too much with my excitement ---
Ha! One proud, proud cowgirl here at R7!
Congrats Class of 2015!!
From R7 to you --
Be a blessing.
